I will never forget ALL the MANY days and nights spent running from rednecks in trucks with guns...even though they thought Jake was a girl half the time, with his shoulder length hair...I guess the sight of him holding my hand, two girls, still sent them into kill mode...chasing us down in super sized trucks, running for our lives around Eugene....It was one of our only exciting moments in Eugene, other than thrifting and reading about glamorous interesting places like Paris and NYC.
